Here's 12 minutes of XCOM 2 gameplay

Take a look at this new trailer for Firaxis' upcoming strategy game.

2K and Firaxis Games on Thursday released the latest gameplay trailer for upcoming strategy game, XCOM 2, providing a deeper look at how things have changed since XCOM: Enemy Unknown was released in 2012.

Titled "Welcome to the Avenger," the 12-minute video goes into depth regarding XCOM 2's new mobile HQ, as well as its character recruiting and customization systems. It also shows off the game's upgrade paths for weapons, armor and abilities, among other things. Take a look at the full video below.

XCOM was announced back in June and is scheduled to launch for PC this November. It's possible the game will come to consoles sometime down the road, but this has not been decided.

The sequel "transports players 20 years into the future, where humanity lost the war against the alien threat that has established a new world order."
