One of 2013's brightest moments in gaming is poised to get even better.

Today, Irrational Games, the Boston-based development studio responsible for BioShock and BioShock Infinite, has announced two of the three promised DLC packs to complement BioShock Infinite, and has clued us in as to what the third pack will be.

Clash in the Clouds, which is available today for $4.99 or 400 MS points, features four new maps spread across Columbia where Booker will take on wave after of wave of the game's iconic baddies. Completing challenges unlocks achievements and players can compete online by posting their scores to leaderboards.

But what's no doubt the more exciting DLC pack is Burial at Sea, an additional piece of narrative that warps Infinite's two main stars into Rapture, the underwater utopian setting of the original BioShock game. Judging from the trailer, Booker and Elizabeth meet up right before Rapture takes a tragic turn for the worse. This will be the first time players get to experience Rapture in its glory days. Burial at Sea will be a two-part campaign but currently does not have a release date just yet, only a frustrating "coming soon" window.

The surprise news about the two-part Rapture DLC, though, is that you'll play as Booker in the first episode and Elizabeth in the second. The third BioShock Infinite DLC pack will be the yet-to-be-named Episode Two of the Rapture campaign.
