Amazon has also gained access to MGM TV's "Vikings," which premiered on the History channel earlier this year and quickly became a top cable series.
Amazon has expanded its relationship with MGM, the former announced Tuesday.
The expanded partnership will see MGM TV's "Vikings," which was wildly popular on the History channel this year, come to Amazon's Prime Instant Video service. In addition, several films, including "Fargo" and "Platoon," will be coming to the streaming service. It appears that the movies included in this deal will come from MGM's library and won't immediately include new releases.
Neither Amazon nor MGM announced the terms of the deal.
