Design the official CNET UK badge in our new contest!
Don't die forgotten and alone. Pin your hopes on being remembered by designing a badge for CNET UK! Entries are open to design a badge you and we can wear with pride.
"I made my life my monument," said Ben Johnson. But why rely on such transient things as having offspring and writing memorable Elizabethan plays, when you could build a far more permanent edifice? Now's your chance, thanks to our bodacious bad-ass badges competition!
Inspired by the Nick Hide badge created by Marc Crane, photoshop genius and head of the Nickorettes fanclub, we will be commissioning a special run of CNET UK pin badges featuring your designs.
But please don't just honour Nick, as much as he deserves it. We're looking for designs that best represent the myriad wonders of CNET UK.
You can use the CNET UK logo, our beautiful faces, your favourite gadget, your tech hero, or anything else that inspires you.
Please make your design at least 200dpi so it's ready for printing, and leave about 6mm around the text so your image has space to wrap around a badge. And, just in case you've never seen a badge before, please make your design round.
You'll of course win a badge with your design on it. Also, your badge will become one of the hallmarks of CNET UK, and be seen on such celebrities as Rich Trenholm, Luke Westaway and Rory Reid.
We've got room for several winners, who will have their badges printed. But we're also throwing in a special prize for the wittiest badge design -- it's a Chargetube universal mobile charger, which charges your phone using an AA battery. Old school!
