Wild Wednesday: $99 3TB hard drive, $499 touch-screen laptop, and more!

Also on tap: a brand-new Creative Bluetooth speaker for just $50 out the door, and two great PC shooters for just a buck.

For a mere $500, this 14-inch Acer laptop includes a touch-screen.

So many deals, so little time!

1. Mo' terabytes, mo' savings.
If your PC doubles as a media center, especially one that pulls DVR duty, you can't have too much storage. Likewise, if you work with a lot of video, you can't have too much storage.

While supplies last, TigerDirect has the Western Digital Elements 3TB USB hard drive for $99.99, plus $3.80 for shipping. That's after redeeming a $20 mail-in rebate (PDF), which makes this the least expensive 3TB external drive I've ever seen.

It's a USB 2.0 drive, alas, but it averaged 4.5 stars out of 5 from over 60 buyers. That's an amazing amount of storage for a rock-bottom price.

2. It's not an ultrabook, but still...
Yesterday, Acer pinged me about a one-day-only laptop deal that I really wanted to share -- but it was too late. Thankfully, they decided to extend it, just because Cheapskate readers are so awesome.

Thus, now ending today, you can get the refurbished Acer Aspire M5-481PT-6488 14-inch touch-screen laptop for $499.99 shipped. Though it's not really an ultrabook as indicated in the description, it's a mighty sweet deal.

In addition to its 14-inch touch-screen display, the Aspire features an Intel Core i5 processor, 6GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, and a DVD burner. These last two items disqualify it from true ultrabook status (as does its 4.6-pound weight), but it's still reasonably thin at 0.9 inch and definitely powerful enough for everyday computing.

CNET rated this model four stars, calling it "the safe Windows 8 laptop bet." And that was when it was selling for $729 (way back in November). If you don't mind a refurb with a 90-day warranty, this is one of the best touch-screen-powered Windows 8 laptops I've seen.

The Creative D200 Bluetooth speaker is a steal at $49.99.

3. Music to your ears.
Music doesn't want to be trapped inside your phone -- it wants to be set free for all to enjoy. Bluetooth speakers are great for that.

While supplies last, DealFisher has the Creative D200 wireless speaker for $49.99 shipped. It's new, not refurbished, and priced a good $25 less than anywhere else.

As noted in CNET's review, the D200 is more of a bookshelf speaker than a portable one, as it lacks a battery option, but it delivers big sound and supports both Bluetooth and line-in sources. Great, great deal.

4. Two incredible PC games for a buck.

Enough with the game bundles, right? Wrong: The Humble Bundle Weekly Sale has action-adventure Darksiders and first-person shooter Red Faction: Armageddon for just $1 (or more -- it's a name-your-own price deal). Combined value if purchased separately: $39.98.

If you beat the average (currently $6.83), you also get the sequels to both games. I say make it 8 bucks, which brings your per-game price to a measly $2 and lets you help some worthy charities in the process. Whatever you decide, this is one of the best game bundles I've seen, ever, as these are top-tier titles. (Check GameSpot's reviews of both Darksiders and Red Faction.

You can see why I couldn't pick just one deal today, right?
