RAM Disk Fix utility posted

Adam Wunn has written a patch application, 7.6.1 RAM Disk Fix, that should solve the shut down freeze problem for those users that have a shut down freeze linked to the presence of a RAM Disk in Mac OS 7.6.1. The patch is based on a suggestion by Alex Maluta, previously posted here at MacFixIt. This problem has been acknowledged by Apple, whose official position is that a fix will not be available until Mac OS 8.

Adam's fix utility is posted here in the Download Library. Adam requests that it not be posted elsewhere. Check his web page for more details. If you have any problems with this fix, please let me know.
