Pokemon Go helmet holds your phone, protects your head

Pokemon Go can be a dangerous pursuit if you're not taking common-sense precautions. Distracted gamers have fallen off a bluff, crashed their cars and gotten dunked in a pond. Simone Giertz, a maker of crummy robots that do things like apply lipstick badly, decided to create a combination of a safety helmet and a phone holder for reckless Pokemon Go players.

"The world's first Pokemon Go helmet" lets you navigate the game hands-free by suspending the phone in front of your face on a series of arms attached to the helmet.

"Who needs interacting with people anyway," Giertz writes in the video description. Giertz says the helmet provides "safety, convenience, sex appeal." The arms are adjustable, so you can push the phone up and out of the way if you actually need to see where you're going.

Giertz suggests using the contraption to catch Pokemon with your face or tongue, but that skill is probably best left to true Pokemon Go ninjas. She admits she has no plans to sell the bizarre headgear, which should come as a relief to the rest of the world. So if you want one, you'll need to build it yourself.

I would suggest adding a giant Pokemon egg logo on the sides of the helmet, just to warn the people around you and give them ample time to steer clear.
