Come October there will be four new Canon PowerShot cameras to choose from. The new range spans everything from pastel blues and pinks to the more traditional silvers, greys and blacks.
The PowerShot A1000 IS and PowerShot A2000 IS targets shoppers who are looking for a reasonably specified entry-level camera, while the SX110 IS gains a 10x zoom lens in return for a lost megapixel and a bit of extra heft. With its selection of pastel hues (think pink, baby blue and white) the E1 is on the prowl for casual users — presumably female casual users at that.
These four PowerShots replace the current line-up — with the exception of the entry-level A590 IS and the far more expensive G9. The revised PowerShot range goes on sale in October.
