Users may experience the alert, "Unable to connect to MobileMe", when attempting to upload a large movie file to their MobileMe movie gallery. This alert, according to Apple, may appear erroneously during large file uploads to MobileMe and may appear even if you are successfully connected to MobileMe's servers.

If you receive this alert, you should first check your Internet connection to be sure you are still able to get online. If you are still online, do not press the "Reload" button on the warning window. Instead, leave the error message on the screen. Your movie will continue to upload in the background.

Users may open a browser window and access the public facing Gallery page, found at http://gallery.me.com/MobileMeUsername. Once the movie appears, you can ignore the error message. This alert will, however, correctly appear during a movie upload if your Internet connection is lost or disrupted. Users should then restart their movie upload.
