The Mini Alligator Solutions

While you may not think of an alligator when you're looking for a way to make mincing garlic easier, the Mini Alligator is the ideal tool. While it doesn't have a mouthful of teeth, the Mini Alligator does have rows of stainless-steel cutting blades. If you have a clove of garlic, a radish or another vegetable small enough that mincing it by hand might end in minced fingertips, this gadget can handle it. Just place the food in the mouth of the Mini Alligator and press down: you'll immediately have cubes 0.125 of an inch wide. Turn them sideways and run them through the Mini Alligator again and you'll have finely minced food.

The Mini Alligator is made from durable plastic that holds the stainless steel blades in place. It's entirely dishwasher-safe, making clean up from mincing something a little more dangerous (like chili peppers or garlic) a simple matter. The Mini Alligator has a built-in plastic chopping grid on the base and a removable plastic cleaning grid sitting inside the chopping grid, along with five rubberized feet to hold it in place. It measures 7.5 inches by 2.25 inches by 1 inch. The Mini Alligator is $24.95.
