If you're a retro-loving, skinny-jean wearing, floppy haired hipster, Leica's new V-Lux 30 compact superzoom camera will be right up your Shoreditch side-street. With an optional natty leather satchel and some choice photo-editing software included, you'll be the toast of your deck shoe-wearing chums.

Protecting this £550 beauty from the cruel elements -- and looking hench while it does it -- the tan leather case with shoulder strap comes in at a modest £80, while the smaller, soft brown leather pouch is priced at £63. Unfortunately they aren't included in the price.

Leica does kindly include both Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and Adobe Premiere Elements 9 for your photo- and video-editing edification. Boasting many of the features seen in the higher-end editing programs, Elements is very reliable and suitable for most photographers.

Fully loaded with a whopping 16x zoom, this particular Leica is just 33mm thick and weighs in at just 220g. The company really has tried to hide a lot of new stuff in this old-fashioned looking little gem. The camera's generous 3-inch touchscreen allows you to quickly change your essential settings before snapping a charming picture of shabby-chic street life.

Mixing things up a little, the camera is also capable of taking 3D images by capturing two shots consecutively and combining them into a stereo image pair. These are then viewable on a 3D TV -- one of your trustafarian buddies is bound to have one.

The camera also houses an all-new 14.1-megapixel sensor, capable of taking seriously crisp pictures, rivalling the megapixel level of some of the entry-level dSLRs out there. The camera can also record 1080p hi-def video and geo-tag pictures so you can tell exactly where that cute rusty old gate was that your followers loved on Flickr.

The V-Lux 30 will be available in the UK from June. With its killer looks, handy software and camp little bag, it's sure to be a fixture in the hipper bars and cafes of Britain's most self-conscious areas.
