Get a 24-inch LCD HDTV for $109.99

This Haier model is new, not refurbished, and it normally sells for more than twice the price.

The Haier L24B1180 offers 24 inches of HDTV goodness for just $109.99.

Earlier this week, I posted a TV deal that sold out very quickly. Let's hope this one lasts a little longer.

Today only, and while supplies last, Kmart has the Haier L24B1180 24-inch LCD HDTV for $109.99 shipped (plus sales tax where applicable). Note: That price appears after you add the product to your cart and then click through to checkout.

Update: Oh, for the love of... It's already sold out. Come ON, resellers! If you don't have enough inventory to last even the early hours of the morning, don't make this your "deal of the day"! Yeah, dang right I'm mad!

That's the lowest price I've ever seen on a 24-inch TV -- by far. Okay, but is it any good?

If you trust the user reviews at Amazon, Overstock, and Walmart, then yes, it's pretty good. Buyers praised its great picture and wide viewing angle, though it sounds like a few folks received defective units (always a possibility when you're dealing with the smaller brands).

The L24B1180 features a 24-inch screen with a 1,920 by 1,080 native resolution -- unusually high for a TV of this size. (That makes it suitable for monitor duty as well.) It's a 60Hz LCD with two HDMI inputs, one component input, and a USB port that supports music and video playback.

It's worth noting that although Haier backs the TV with a one-year parts warranty, labor is limited to 90 days. If you're as less-than-wild about that as I am, it's worth noting that Kmart offers a one-year Smart Plan extended warranty for $19.99. Tack that on and you'll still get out the door on the cheap.

A TV like this would be a great fit for a den or bedroom. If you're in the market, grab one before they're gone!

Bonus deal: MediaFire is offering 50GB of free cloud storage when you sign up for a new account. I haven't had a chance to test-drive the service yet, so I'm not sure how it compares with the likes of Dropbox or SugarSync. But on paper, it sounds pretty sweet. The only noteworthy hitch I'm seeing is the maximum file size of 200MB.
