Gateway offers AAA discount

If you're planning to order a Gateway computer, the Poway, Calif., PC company suggests that you have your AAA card handy.

Gateway on Tuesday said it will offer American Automobile Association members a 10 percent discount on a range of Gateway business and consumer PCs, along with a 25 percent discount on Gateway educational products, which are online and CD-ROM-based classes. It will also offer AAA members discounts on electronics such as plasma televisions and digital cameras. Gateway said in a statement that it's the first PC maker to join the association's Show Your Card and Save program, which provides members with discounts on goods and services on a national level.
