Fujifilm has sued Motorola Mobility over several alleged patent infringements relating to camera and communication functions.

Since April 2011, the camera and film manufacturer has held meetings with Motorola in order to settle the dispute with a licensing agreement. According to the complaint, Motorola "has continued to infringe" these patents, which include face detection, as well as more general patents describing the method in which the device communicates with others.
The handsets and tablets that have violated the patents include the Razr Maxx, Xoom and Atrix 2, among several others. Fujifilm is seeking an unspecified amount of damages against the company.
