We've got a Tablo over-the-air DVR, which can stream live and recorded free broadcast TV content to nearly any device. The product from Nuvyyo uses an HDTV antenna to access broadcast TV signals, then records programs to an external hard drive and streams them over your home network to other devices, like a tablet or a Roku box. There's no remote needed here; you control the device via tablet, Web-based or Roku app.
The Tablo comes in two- and four-tuner models; you'll be getting the two-tuner device, plus a free one-month trial of Tablo's electronic program guide that you can choose to renew for $4.99 a month -- or not. So what do you have to do to snag this $220 device for free? There are a few rules, so please read carefully.
