Apple has released a software update for people who have purchased their new wireless "Magic Mouse" pointing device. The update allows your computer to take full advantage of the features in the new mouse, and is a recommended installation for all Magic Mouse users.

This update is available in two versions, one for Snow Leopard users and one for Leopard users. The respective download locations for the Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0 are the following links:

For Leopard -- OS X 10.5.8 or later is required, and the update for this operating system weighs in at 36.22MB.

For Snow Leopard -- OS X 10.6.1 or later is required, and this update is a little larger at 63.92MB.

If you already use a Magic Mouse the software should be available in Software Update. Not much more information is provided for the update at this time.
