Unless you've been paying no attention, you'll know that CODBLOPS II (as it's affectionately known) is on sale tomorrow for Xbox, PlayStation 3 and PC. But what you might not know is that EB Games will be holding midnight launches for the Activision game around Australia. And because of the joys of time differences, the first sale in Australia will be the first in the world.

A ridiculous number of EB stores will be open from 10pm tonight across regional and city areas. You can get the full list of stores from EB Games' Facebook page.

Modern Warfare 3 still holds the record for the biggest entertainment release of all time (yes, bigger than Avatar), and EB thinks that Black Ops II may break this record, although we think that might just be a little bullish as predictions go. Still, if you're up for a sleepy start on Tuesday, get yourself to an EB this evening.

You can check out the launch trailer below.
