Mophie announced April 21, 2009, the availability of its Juice Pack Air that works both as an extended battery and as a protective case for the iPhone 3G. Unlike the original Juice Pack, the Juice Pack Air uses a Micro-USB port, instead of the commonly used Mini-USB port, which makes it a lot more inconvenient to use as you need to carry the cable with it.
