XCAR Awards 2013 - Best InteriorXCAR has been inside some rare, exotic and truly fantastic cars, but which interior has left the biggest impression on the team?
When you cars are unveiled -- the exterior that grabs all the headlines the smooth lines the aggressive look. But the interior is just as important after all if you spend huge amounts of money and in you car where you going spend most -- time. Probably stuck in traffic behind the steering wheel so this award looks -- those companies that -- the right amount of effort into that place where you spend most your time. Right there in the cabin. There are quite a few cars in quite a range of different interiors. That made a shortlist for this the minimalist approach in the BAC mono might not -- much to write home about in terms of details. But the small amount is there is done perfectly all the controls from the steering wheel with nothing else to distract you it is simplistic perfection. The 458 -- -- gives you exactly what you would expect from a Ferrari interior. Comfort and luxury with only the minimal -- to aesthetics there's nothing there that -- and B and their thing that is there is done exquisitely right down to no leather cover for the mandatory fire extinguisher. Ferrari's always go for a racing feel on the interior and the 458 is no different. As an interior to match the exquisite exterior and the package together is phenomenal. On the other side of that you have the McLaren MP 412 C or the twelve CS is now more commonly known. That's interior is -- -- it is as bare as you'd want to go for Ricardo cost as much as a large house. But not focus on simplicity that really keeps her attention where matches on the manual controls on the road -- -- The McLaren MP 412 seasons here might know dazzle you with a median bells and whistles. But its simplicity -- RI. We couldn't have this list without the latest Range Rover and their new additions and subtraction from the previous model have helped bring this up to a new level. All of elegance and luxury there are just enough controls -- to give you access to what you need to do it but not too much to confuse the luxury in the back -- matches that to the front and it's a great place to be. The X cart team got an exclusive look inside the belly factory to see exactly how much effort -- pretend to those car's interior. -- phenomenal amount of Africa is dear to seat. And to touch and to smell if you -- you want to. There are few cars and -- to match the -- abandon it could -- and and this list would not be complete without it. Some of out these designs on the interior might be looking a little bit dated now but they still hold up. Audi. But the interior is as focused on performance as anything else in the Audi lineup. To almost superfluous U -- that you just want to use because it looks so fantastic. The carbon fiber and leather steering wheel feels like it's from Q ages -- to -- neck. The only downside is that the speed you'll be traveling that you'll not have time to take all of it and the rest this year it every time you get in and add to this car you'll take your breath away.
