Vizualogic Road Trip Universal Dual Headrest DVD System

[ Music ] ^M00:00:03 >> Hi. I'm Antuan Goodwin, and this is your First Look at the Vizualogic RoadTrip universal dual headrest DVD system. The Vizualogic RoadTrip consists of two touchscreen DVD monitors, premounted in adjustable headrests. The replacement headrests are upholstered in a black leatherette, but also ship with gray or tan covers to better match your vehicle. Installation is simple. First remove your stock headrests friend the vehicle. Next, route the interface cable from the headrest monitors through the mounting holes, down through the seats, and out of the bottom of the seat back. Connect the two headrest cables to the wiring harness, and connect the harness to the hideaway box. Using the power cable wiring harness supplied, make your connections for accessory power, battery, ground, and the parking brake. We tapped our stereo's wiring harness because most of the connections are clearly labeled and in one place here. The unit doesn't ship with cable taps, so you have to supply your own. Finally, connect the power wiring harness to the hideaway box. Then crank the car up, and test the system. Next, hide away your cables with the supplied zip ties, and you're ready to go. The RoadTrip is a stand-alone system with an integrated DVD player, and an SD card slot for playback of digital media. The system includes two sets of wireless headphones that receive audio information using an infrared connection, and in IR remote that's not very intuitively laid out, but serviceable. For users who would rather use their vehicle's speakers, the RoadTrip includes a built-in FM transmitter for broadcasting audio to your FM stereo, and a set of RCA AV outputs for connecting to after-market receivers. The Vizualogic RoadTrip isn't without its flaws, but it's a very easy way to add rear DVD entertainment to almost any vehicle at a very affordable price.
