Tokyo auto show: Mitsubishi Concept-ZTThis looks like the next Galant--and we like looking at it.
^M00:00:01 [ Music ] ^M00:00:06 >> Hey wait a minute. Since when does Mitsubishi make cars we drool over? This concept ZT has a high-end gravitas you just never associate with the Trident of the East. Somewhere between Lexus and Infiniti and Audi is this vehicle that will be the next gallant. Check the inside--the Tokyo skyline at night has nothing on this car. That's a lot of luminescent blue; of course you'll never see that in production. Maybe you can hope though for that ebonized black wood trim, and at a car show filled with cars that are light, bright and airy we love the fact that this cabin is dark and elegant like a penthouse bar in Tokyo where you might expect to hear a band say, "Thank you we are Sausalito." Power would be from a 2.2 liter clean diesel mated out to a twin-clutch SST manumatic transmission. Not sure if that detail's gonna make it to the US.
