The Renault EZ-Ultimo concept brings luxury and autonomy to Paris
You never know what concept you're gonna see here at auto shows, and the Paris Motor Show is no different.
I'm here at the Renault stand, and they're showing off an electric Level IV autonomous people mover that is focused more on the journey than it is on the destination.
It's called the EZ-ULTIMO.
Renault has completely reimagined what mobility can look like.
Like sure there's lights and wheels and kind of, but come on does this thing really look like a car?
There's a whole hodgepodge of colors, textures, and materials that are happening on the outside, but the inside is the boom diggity.
I mean check it out, wood paneling, lounge seats, flattering lighting.
This thing puts my living room to shame.
They said this is not a place to commute, this is a place to relax and be pampered.
Now, as a level four autonomous vehicle the Easy Ultimo is capable of completing a journey without any driver intervention.
Heck, it doesn't even need a driver to be in the car.
However, technically level four means that you need to have some kind of a back up driver controls and I don't see no steering wheel in there.
