The new Audi TT RS is faster and more powerful than a Cayman

We knew it was coming and now it's here, this is the new Audi TT RS. First off down to the numbers it's got a 2.5 liter five cylinder turbocharged engine with 400 horsepower and 354 Pound foot. Now the 62 for the Roadster, which we've got here, is 3.9 seconds. So the coupe is 3.7 importantly that faster than the new Porsche 718 Cayman and Cayman S. It's top speed is 174 miles an hour. And Audi promises are it's going to be a bit more of a driver's car. Something more hardcore, proper RS Now the [UNKNOWN] TT is a fantastic car. We've driven it and we've loved it. So what's different here? Well, it has a very aggressive body kit on it and a fantastically low spoiler at the back which you can stack away if you want to. You even have carbon ceramic brakes and the virtual cockpit display has been [UNKNOWN] to make it a bit more special. There's also a sports exhaust option which makes this thing sound pretty obscene, and it's got an exhaust button to turn it on and off so you can have it in angry mode when you want to scare children bumbling around town. There's a number of driving modes and the usual stuff. In all this thing is setup to be a pretty special motor and we'll let you know when we have a go later this year. [MUSIC]
