The best and worst YouTube comments left for Craig Cole
Yi Yang Chen commented OMG at Craig Cole, you need to do mean comics again.
[MUSIC]
Hello again, you guys sure have a lot to say we get loads of comments on YouTube and today I'm going to respond to a few of them.
You guys left on some of my recent videos Yes, I'll be highlighting comments that are both kind and cruel.
[NOISE] It'll be a lot of fun, I promise.
Now kicking things off let's start with comments on my Jeep Wrangler eco diesel review.
Will Maitner wrote.
Why is PeeWee Herman reviewing a jeep?
[LAUGH]
[LAUGH] You think you're so clever?
You're not the first one to liken me to Paul Rubens you're a little late to the party, my friend.
Next up, Savio, del Rosario commented, you know, you're going to be smiling the whole review when you hear this man speak.
Well, thank you very much.
That is very kind
Unlike you a lot.
While we're not perfect, the whole roadshow team puts a lot of effort and time into producing entertaining and informative content.
And I hope we succeed in doing that.
As always, thank you.
Next up, we've got Sergei G who said, How dare you taking that review from Emme Hall?
No, I'm sorry.
You're 100% right?
She is our resident off road expert and typically covers products like the Jeep Ranger and now in my defense I don't actually schedule the vehicles that I review or in fact we have a steam powered super computer in a secret underground banker that handles all of that work.
Keeping it short and to the point, Al Medina wrote, this dude sucks.
[LAUGH] Apologies if you're not a fan, but I do give you bonus points for being clear and direct with your comment.
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Caleb Rogers was curious where we shot this wrangler video.
Is this Bundy Hill in Gerome, Michigan?
Well good I indeed that is where we shot.
It's an awesome little off road Park.
It's a couple hours outside downtown Detroit and if you're in the area make sure you check it out.
You know a lot of fun there.
Next comment comes from Super Mr. Bentley who wrote a good car but it's not worth the money and you know something.
I agree.
The Jeep Wrangler is an amazing piece of hardware, but at 61 grand which is about my tester cost, I'm not so sure.
At eco diesel engine is freaking expensive.
All right on to the next video not long ago, I did a little opinion piece on electronic shifters and how some of them are terrible and this feature generated quite a lot of comments and right off the bat Sadman Hoque, Sadman Hoque, whatever he wrote.
I think he needs to visit a psychiatry literally pick the worst electronic shifter as his favorite.
And of course several people responded to his comments in agreement.
I kinda knew my choice would generate some controversy, but I really do like it.
So what shifter did I pick?
Well, you're gonna have to watch that video to find out hashtag shameless self promotion.
Next up, Edmaluf had a suggestion.
How about Mercedes with a column mounted shifter?
I like that as well.
And yes I totally agree I to like the Mercedes Benz gear selector, that little lever that's kind of like a turn signal stuff, grab it and just flick.
[MUSIC]
But those were next up.
[LAUGH]
Still talking about shifters Randy that's capital Rs.
Space capital D said excellent topic, thanks for putting out fun content during these times.
And I say to you thank you so much for your compliment and if you're watching I'm glad that you enjoyed the video.
Andreas Shiakas, and I'm sure I'm saying that wrong as well.
Well, he or she commented how about this?
Test each of these systems by doing a three point turn in a hurry Let us know what you think.
It's not a bad idea that might really show you what transmission changes gears the quickest because some of them like dead set up nine speed pretty slow.
And finally, Ted Anjan had me laughing out loud But some people just love being wrong.
Classic Craig Cole the alliterative Master, but that sentence doesn't really.
Nevermind.
You made a grammar joke about alliteration and I love it that's hilarious.
Moving along, so like the electronic shifters editorial I also did a little video on On why I think it's brilliant that Ford called the new Maki SUV a Mustang and plenty of you had a lot to say about that Starting things off Dana black wrote, this car will be a stain on the Mustang name in 20 years.
Sure it might be good but it isn't a true must.
Obviously Dana is not a fan of the mob.
He Karol Bala belay I there's a like the line through the L i have no idea how to say that is it Hungarian or something?
I'm gonna guess Hungarian.
And here's the comment.
It may be brilliant but they should have called it something else they could have called it the model TFFS [INAUDIBLE]
And have some bullet campaign saying the original model T wasn't the first car, but it revolutionized the car world just like this new model T is not the first electric car but it's just as revolutionary and that's actually not a bad idea.
I kind of like it.
You can call the Maki the model T mark two or something because the idea behind both of those cars, Is kind of the same.
All right moving along.
Suresh gonna have a power Ooh, gone up.
Guevara poo sorry Suresh gone have a Roku is apparently indifferent to the Mustang name but this person is not a fan of me.
That's five minutes of my time wasted that I will not get back Worst video.
Sorry you didn't like it.
We'll try harder next time.
Of course there were plenty of people that also agreed with my opinion on the Maki that it is a brilliant idea on Ford's part and Mario Cubana said I really cannot wait for this car.
Then Mustang 17 GT wrote I agree 100% this is exactly what I have been saying.
Mach E has gotten me interested in electric cars again.
And with a username like Mustang 17 GT I assume this dude already owns a Mustang and if he as a current customer likes the Mach E, maybe more Mustang enthusiasm is will too, especially once they get some seat time.
And then one.
Next up Blake Swan had an interesting comment.
Honestly, given Ford's recent track record, I'm going to be shocked if they can assemble it correctly.
The first time I have a feeling it will be a great power train with an interior cost cut to death.
Thunderbird would have been such a better name in my opinion, given the four doors and you make a couple excellent points Blake.
Explorer and aviator launch was kind of a disaster for Ford, and I hope the machi introduction is much smoother.
Also, for instance, the new escapes interior Ain't that nice, but I don't think the Maki will suffer the same fate.
It's cabin actually seems pretty good, at least based on what I've seen in prototype models.
Finally, Thunderbird, that's an intriguing non Mustang name for this vehicle.
I hadn't really thought of that but I could totally see it working.
Next up, HLK commented the best looking car in this video was actually the one parked behind Craig one of the late 30s filing.
He or she, of course is talking about my old Ford back there.
And I think we'll do a video on this thing in the not so distant future.
So make sure you stay tuned for that.
All right, I'm a big Tesla fan wrote Abdul Rahman.
I'll light it out slighty As a real name, Abdul Rahman Allahu lighty apologies, but I really hope the Maki succeeds because we need more companies to move to electric I still prefer the model y over any other SUV not including the Model X.
Hmm, a Tesla enthuse just it's not a phonetic thing do exist.
Anyway, thank you for watching and commenting, and it will be interesting to see how the monkey sells going forward.
Recently we published a video on the best trucks you can buy today and Jonathan Roy Backus left the comment Tacoma should have made this list.
Sure it might need a refresh, but hey, at least when you pass it on to your grandkids and 2045 they'll see the amenities we had in 2020 because that's how long it will last.
Now, I am not a Tacoma fan.
I think it feels prude and it is not comfortable, like at all, but I totally get why people buy them for reliability and like resale value.
It can't be beat.
Next up Mihail G wrote wasting my time watching this idiot talking, frowning, emoji frowning emoji wasting my time you can really feel this guy's anger.
Now to that Ted unresponded if you watched it, then who is the idiot?
And I'm not going to lie, I laughed out loud at that little exchange.
Finally, the awakening at the following to say I am The best truck in the market right now is the 2020 Nissan Titan.
It stands out among the segment because only a few of them are on the road.
Then this person goes on to talk about reliability pricing and some other stuff.
Personally, I still think the Detroit three full size pickups are better But the Titan is still a great rig.
Really, it's the nicest truck that nobody buys these days.
It's got an amazing V8 engine interior is pretty good and of course, it also comes with the best warranty around a five year hundred thousand mile bumper to bumper guarantee that is unheard of Alright, let's wrap things up here.
Thank you for watching our videos.
As for your comments whether they're kind insightful or even malicious, I actually enjoy reading them all.
So do keep them coming.
And I think right now when done here.
