[SOUND] Behind me is something I'm worryingly excited about.
The RS3 has been given more power and a boot.
This is the RS3 [UNKNOWN] and this engine's been upgraded the hatchback.
Something I actually adore cuz it was really quick on country roads and I like, massively enjoyed it That had 360 odd horsepower right?
This one has 400 it's got the engine from the new TTRS.
So the specs, the important numbers naut to 62, 4.1 seconds.
Top speed 155 miles an hour unless you apply money in which case it's 174 miles an hour 400 horsepower and about 354 pounds in feet which means it's a seriously quick car.
To put that into perspective, the Ferrari 360 that finished production well, 2005, that also have 400 horsepower.
That's the family salon and it's got the same power as 360.
I wanna see those two drag racing Frankly.
It's a small, fast, Audi RS Saloon.
And you know what?
I hear it's gonna be pretty good fun, frankly.
But to get a little closer to the bottom of the RS3 story, we spoke to the boss of RS, Stephan Winkelmann, about it.
For me, the Audi RS3 is a perfect combination of drivability, so daily usable car, what we need.
An Audi Sport with a unique European engine.
A five cylinder with 2.5 liter capacity and 200 horsepower.
And this is sedan is also a clear signal that we want to be a global player.
Meaning that the two regions North America and Asia Pacific agreed to be more important than [UNKNOWN] Euro.
So this is something which is important for the future of our brand.
We are not running for volumes because exclusivity only the sportiest and most prestigious model.
Here we're looking into a combination of USB with a [UNKNOWN], which nobody else has.
But also, as you said before, for younger people stepping into It has a very good balance.
The power to weight ratio is god for a car like this.
Strong engine, small car.
And it gives you a lot of space and room in it.
So I think it's a good starting point for [UNKNOWN]
