You can call them SUVs, you can call them cross-overs, but bigger is definitely better here at the 2016 Los Angeles auto show.
Here's five of our favorite SUVs in no particular order.
[INAUDIBLE] Jaguar is bringing both luxury and electricity to the SUV market with its new I-Pace.
Now electric motors on each axle are gonna bring about 400 horsepower, and it can go 220 miles on a charge.
But listen, this is their first electric vehicle.
And well, it's a Jaguar, so expect it to be pretty pricy indeed.

Alpha Romeo makes its first foray into the SUV market with the Stelvio.
Now, can you think of another SUV where you can get optional carbon fiber sparkle seats?
Crazy!
Plus, 2.9 liter V6 engine, and all that is wrapped up in a super sophisticated package.
This is one beautiful and badass SUV.
You can think of the new Jeep Compass kind of like a baby Jeep Grand Cherokee.
It's got some of the luxury touches but it definitely has got all of the off-road cred.

And if you want your sub compact crossover just a little on the quirky side there's always the new Toyota CHR.

And of course the fun to drive Mazda CX-5 remains a favorite, and now it will be available with a 2.2 liter diesel engine.
