Seriously forget about all of the crossovers that are out there and grab one of these shipping containers on wheels if their versatility and comfort hasn't convinced you, well, maybe Chrysler's refresh 2021 Pacifica will Making its big debut here at teh Chicago Auto Show, this family-friendly hauler has been nicely updated for the latest model year.
Already one of our favorite vans, it's more luxurious, offers an extra helping of technology.
And it's even been restyled, though not entirely for the better.
In a bid to give this vehicle an SUV like appearance, designers grafted a more squared off grill onto the Pacifica's nose.
While hardly offensive, I don't necessarily love it.

Fortunately, the rear is a different story.
New full width tail lights give the Pacifica's backside some tasteful visual pizzazz Front and rear, all LED light fixtures are now standard across the range.
As before, a 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 engine is standard, that get you 287 horsepower with 262 pound feet of torque, it of course is match To a nine speed automatic transmission.
Now, once again the Pacifica hybrid is making a comeback that takes that same basic v six engine, runs it on the Atkinson cycle for a little bit better fuel economy, and then pairs it up with a duet of electric motors, at all told that system should deliver 260 horsepower and provide an electric only driving range of 30 miles.
Now there is some big news under the hood that Pacifica will be offered with all wheel drive a disconnecting system that engages the rear axle and extra grip is needed.
Amazingly, engineers were able to add this feature while maintaining their industry leading stolen go seating system.

On the luxury front there's a new range topping model, that sits above the limited trim.
Appropriately it's called the Pacifica Pinnacle.
And it comes with goodies like quilted Nappa leather, satin trim and even throw pillows.
Uconnect five is FCS latest version of this always great infotainment system features a 10.1 inch screen and improved processing power.
Amazon Alexa is built in, as is wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Front End styling aside.
As you've just seen, there is a lot to like about the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica now, pricing information has not been released yet, but I bet it's going to be pretty competitive with the model you can buy right now.
