Here we have the brand new Audi RSQ3 with a five cylinder 2.5 TFSI engine underneath the bonnet.
Which is its USP I suppose and sounds, as we know, absolutely wonderful.
This is the engine that I drove The Audi TT HRS and it's now it's the lighter version says 30 kilos lighter and it puts out 400 psi 394 brake horsepower and 354 pounds for to talk not 60 miles now four and a half seconds and a top speed if you spec I think the optional packs of 174 Miles an hour, which is quite a lot for the SUV, isn't it?
And before you sort of say, well, it's a mini SUV with an RF badge on it, that doesn't really make sense.
And it's, I know, I know I completely get that.
I would have said the same except the trouble is last time you came to drive one of these actually was really quite good because you add a little bit right height, you get a bit more role and you add in the soundtrack and actually, it drives.
Pretty well, pretty excitingly.
So let's deal with a bit more of this.
What do we got?
Well 10 millimeter drop overall we've got this 10 minutes of water, which is just there, steel brakes on this car but you can get all new carbon ceramic brakes on it as well.
Inside you've got mark and Tara.
You've got new seats for here with Alcantara up here which you can have in different colors blue, black, blue, red, and gray in their office as well.
But the other column show you because there are two cars here and What's over here?
So this is the all new RDRSQ three sport back.
So the sport back is going to be obviously across the board but this is the first time we've seen it and it's in RS spec.
And yeah, it is pretty good.
So I thought I'd talk through some of the design cues some of which are on this But obviously the differences that make this the sport back versions.
So around the front on both cars, this grill, they've taken away the framing here.
So actually they've taken away normally you'd add bits in over the years we've sort of seen you add more trimming it more bits and silver move into Chrome to make things stand out as well.
The premium Offering I suppose.
This one taking it away.
So they've actually been able to lower this slightly so low down as you can get these signature slots which we've seen on our effort coming in over the last few years.
It's also wider as you'd expect, and this has on it, as you probably noticed, the black pack.
So whereas on the other one, there was a silver.
Outlines bits like his blades here which was so wrong as unless it's all nice and glass back in the bag as well which we have on the back as well all in glass black, the green, Kyle army green, which is is pretty cool.
Probably nobody was back there brave enough but don't expect to see it on some press cars I should imagine.
Anyway moving down here What I really like on this and it's on both cars is the fact that they've managed to get these amazing looking box arches really on it.
So you've got that and because you've got this quite exaggerated step down there, which gives these really, really cool, look, I think I've got the comms remix.
On this one being done side so the difference here we've got a 29 millimeter lower roofline overall.
And the big thing talking to the designer of this car, he said what they've been allowed to do with it is they redesigned it from the a pillar Backwards.
So sometimes when you get these cars and you get this sort of coupe version, generally it's only from the B pillar back that they're allowed to redesign, which is obviously then quite hampering because you're very, very aggressive sort of look to it in terms of the word.
So this much more cohesive overall.
So I think it's a little bit of a sort of Lamborghini or so look back at shrunken down not obviously quite so, sort of Angular.
I suppose.
This line here, I'm sure because one of the other car, you can see that's been lowered a lot.
So that again, brings it down hands this down here, that line in there.
That's all different and it says there's a lot that has gone on in here.
Ray headroom.
Yes.
It's a little bit sort of sitting here for a second, okay.
might not be able to see I'm going to sit

Until,yeah, read them together.
But there is an advantage to that, which is it's a bit like an F 40, which is also very cramped.
You didn't expect that comparison, did you?
But I can wish my head in there so I can actually get to sleep on a long journey, which is class and legs right?
So this news port sits in there.
Out of here again we ran to the back.
Not such an aggressive look to the spoiler on the sport back as there is on the standard Q 3. But yeah same size beats base because these lights have moved further back again to give a better look to the rear and it's got so many beats based on it as well.
Exhaust, two big oval exhausts for the first time on the Q3.
All the better to hear that 2.55 cylinder turbocharged engine, which still has to be one of the best engines on sale as we know because it keeps winning awards.
So there we are.
That is the RSQ3 and RSQ3 Sportback.
