You know sometimes, the LA auto show takes you outside of the convention center and right now I got to be outside in the fresh beautiful California lifestyle air in the Tesla p100d, now that is the all new drive version got a 100 kHz battery and 315 miles of all electric range.
Of course That's if you don't put it in ludicrous mode, and I'm gonna put it in ludicrous mode.
Okay now, I've got ludicrous mode already enabled.
I'm a little nervous, cuz I know this is crazy.
All right, you ready?
And engage ludicrous mode.
Holy crap!
[LAUGH]
My God.
I gotta do that again.
We gotta do that again.
That is amazing.
All right.
My range right now is 300 miles.
You ready, and three, two, one, [LAUGH].
My God.
How is that possible?
My gosh.
I can't even tell you guys.
It's like being strapped into a lawn chair and launched into space.
It is so good.
Wow.
My gosh, I think I need a cigarette.
That is just crazy.
[LAUGH] Now those of you that already own Teslas, you might know that a new autopilot version is gonna be rolled out pretty soon.
And so, keep up with your software updates.
But also if you follow Elan Musk on twitter, you've been tweeting some interesting things saying that maybe in the future there's going to be a easter egg that will unlock the full power of ludicrous mode.
So, I'm thinking maybe, in going with this baseball theme maybe it's going to be called, I don't know, maybe plaid mode.
Right?
That'd be kind of cool You may also have noticed that up here I have a fascinating glass roof.
Now it doesn't open or close but it is pretty cool.
It gives a nice feeling of open airiness to the Tesla.
It's gonna be about at $1,500 add-on.
If you want some open air, you'll have to spring for the sunroof.
That's about $2,000.
[LAUGH] Everybody's passing me.
[LAUGH] But for now from the outside of the LA Auto Show in the Tesla P100D, it's Emmy Hall going into ludicrous.
Aah!
[LAUGH]
How is that possible?
[NOISE]
