Details on the Tesla Model 3 go online, the Tesla Model 3 is coming out sometime this year.
And it looks like some information may have gotten out, the site Inside EVs posted a sales brochure of the Model 3. The brochure compares the Model S against the Tesla Model 3, the chart says the Model 3 will go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.6 seconds.
The model S can do that in about 2.3 seconds as long as you've got ludicrous mode enabled.
[INAUDIBLE] also notes that the model 3 will be able to go more than 215 miles on a charge.
The details are similar to what Tesla announced at the launch events.
There would be one digital display in the center, but no digital display in place of a gage cluster in front of the driver.
Taking a look at their premium features section of the chart.
It suggests that the Model 3 will not have an aluminum body like the Model S. That would mean the Model 3 will have an aluminum frame but with steel body panels.
Looking at the data, the Model 3 pales in comparison to the Model S.
Inside EVs says the chart is a method to upsell the Model S. The Model 3 is expected to base for around $35,000.
Estimates say Tesla is taking somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 to 500,000 reservations for the vehicle.
