5 things you need to know about the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
It's summertime here in California, so you know what that means.
Time to drop that top, baby!
And I'm doing it in style this week in the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Cabriolet.
Here are five things that you need to know.

While it might look like a baby S-Class, make no mistake, the E-Class is its very own car.
Car.
Sure, last year it ran on this C Class platform, but this year it gets its own underpinnings and it's offered with all wheel drive for the very first time.

Up UNder the hood is the same 3-liter biturbo V6 engine, that puts out 329 horsepower and 350 pound feet of torque, but that has made into a 9 speed automatic transmission, not the 7 speed form last year.
Mercedes Benz has always been really good at a retro future interior and the E400 is not different.
I really like these cool air vents and there's plenty of open [INAUDIBLE] and all that serves to compliment the standard 12.3-inch screen that's running Mercedes Benz command entertainment system.
Plus, I got the optional 12.3 screen that serves as a reconfigurable gage [INAUDIBLE]

And just because you're driving a convertible doesn't mean that you need to be uncomfortable.
The optional Airscarf system pumps warm air right from here onto my neck.
And there's the Aircap wind deflection system so people in the back seat don't get their hair messed up.

And since it's a Mercedes, it's gonna be a little bit pricey.
The e-class Cabriolet starts at $68,800 for the all-wheel drive but this full kitted out one, you're looking at closer to 85 grand.
