This is a 2019 BMW M850i convertible.
And in person, it's pretty imposing.
Also being 258 pounds heavier than its coupe counterpart.
But don't let that size and extra weight fool you, this thing is still fast.
Zero to sixty comes along in 3.9 seconds.
Which is only three-tenths of a second slower than its coupe counterpart.
All that power is achieved thanks to a twin turbocharged 4.4 liter v8 engine producing 523 horsepower and 553 pound feet of torque, being sent to all four wheels through an eight speed automatic transmission.
Standard features These include 20 inch wheels, Adaptive M Suspension, and rear wheel steering.
Inside you get a 10.25 inch touch screen that can also be controlled through the iDrive rotary controller, along with a 12.3 inch TFT instrument cluster display.
BMW also throws in a nifty set of neck vents for the driver and front passenger so you can heat or cool your neck during open air motoring.
In addition, BWM also adds a set of rear seats that fold flat.
So you can get bulkier cargo into the trunk.
When it goes on sale in March of 2019, it will command a base price of $121,400 which is $9500 more expensive than the Coupe counterpart.
But for somebody who can afford that much is probably a small price to pay for the added enjoyment of open top and really, really fast motoring Great.
