2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class proves not every refresh is a major one
Time sure does fly Mercedes-Benz has a little crossover gLA class has already been out for a few years, thus time for refresh, i'll be in the mild one, the 2018 Mercedes Benz gLA class doesn't look too much different from the original and it isn't really, there's some new bumpers up front, now back, and some new wheel designs, and there are LED headlamps optional on gla 250 and standard on GLA 45 The interior features a bit more change, but again it's pretty light.
There's some new seat covers as well as new trim finishers on various pieces.
There are also new gauges because red needles are totally sporty.
If you're feeling pedestrian, opt for the GLA 250 with its 208 horsepower inline 4. If speed is more your thing, the GLA 45 is the cure for what ails you.
With a 375 horsepower inline four engine.
All wheel drive is standard on that one, but it's only optional on the GLA 250.
Not only is the GLA 45 quicker, it looks the part.
Up front, there's a new bumper.
Out back, there's a new spoiler.
And in between, some new wheel design.
Inside there are sport seats, contrast stitching and, you guessed it, AMG badges out of the wazoo.
New tech of the 2018 AMG include a 360 degree camera system, optional hands free trunks.
Upon emergency breaking is standard across the line which is slowly becoming par for the course in this time.
The 2016 GLA class goes on sale early this summer.
