-Well, I'm Wayne Cunningham, 2012 Paris Motor Show.
McLaren is a company with one car, the MP4-12C.
It's a sports coupe, a two-seater, comes in hard-top or convertible.
So you would think if they wanna expand the business they might add an SUV or a Sedan or something like that.
But now, the company decided to do another tow-seater sports coupe, and here it is.
Right now, it's just in concept form and not a bad choice.
I like it.
It's a good-looking car and good addition to the line up.
It would fit as the same as what they already have.
This car is built in the same principles as the MP4-12C.
Has an aluminum tub, it's got a carbon fiber body for light weight and this is supposed to outperform MP4-12C in every way.
McLaren has not released any specifications as far as the engine or anything like that at this point.
All that will come out to Geneva
Auto Show, so we expect to see a production version of this car in Geneva.
This looks pretty well done.
It's probably pretty post production as it is.
They'll probably use a variation on the engine that they have in MP4-12C, that's a 3.8 liter twin turbo.
A lot of power out of that, a lot of performance, and so I would expect this to do super car performance in every way.
McLaren does a lot of electronics to improve handling and keep the car on the road and this will probably be no slouch in that regard either.
It's got really nice
curvy lines, good super car look.
All in all, I think it's a success.
