This is Mazda's new MX 30 concept and no it's not the Miata times six, disappointingly.
But what is exciting is that it's the first electric concept for Mazda's brand.
That is interesting.
It's sort of equal parts Mazda 3 and the CX 30 that we saw debut in Geneva earlier this year with the sort of raised coupe design with a truncated roof.
Now unique pieces to this vehicle are these sort of freestyle doors that open up like coach doors giving you better access to the cabin, which features environmentally friendly material.
And also if you look at the front, you'll see a very sharp overhang on the hood that gives the front end a very specific look.
Now, there's not a whole lot of information about the power train but we do know that this thing is going to use really high speed charging and as can you can tell by MX at the front of this, inspired by the MX5, there's going to be a lot of that Jinba-Ittai Horse and rider driving fun that monster is famous for, be sure to check out our full first takeover on the road show calm for even more details about this vehicle.
It's hot off the presses and we're still learning more about it from the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.
