>> One of the BMWs that brings people into the brands to have their first BMW the most effectively is the X5 historically. And here is the new X5. It doesn't look at whole lot different on a quick glance and that's for good reason. Its working, it's bringing people into the BMW brand. But there are some subtle improvements. First of all the base engine, a three liter inline six has more power than before and a flatter tork curve. And the big engine is now a 4.8 V8. Only one transmission gets the power to the wheels and that is a six speed steptronic. The manual gearbox option is gone. There's the availability of all kinds of active ride controls, electronic shock damping which is a very high end feature that uses an electronic current to change the viscosity of the dampers as you drive in just millisecond response rates. It's very sophisticated. You'll also find a rearview camera available on the car now. Of course, iDrive and we see a wide screen iDrive screen fitted on this particular vehicle. Another big thing for utility is the back seats. It's now a seven passenger possible vehicle so, it holds more than ever. BMW showed this thing when they unveiled it on the Nerver Green [assumed spelling] race track and then seven people climbing out. So, they're really pushing that sports activity vehicle angle, he new BMW X5 on sale soon.
