It doesn't look at whole lot different on a quick glance and that's for good reason. Its working, it's bringing people into the BMW brand. But there are some subtle improvements. First of all the base engine, a three liter inline six has more power than before and a flatter tork curve. And the big engine is now a 4.8 V8. Only one transmission gets the power to the wheels and that is a six speed steptronic. The manual gearbox option is gone. There's the availability of all kinds of active ride controls, electronic shock damping which is a very high end feature that uses an electronic current to change the viscosity of the dampers as you drive in just millisecond response rates. It's very sophisticated. You'll also find a rearview camera available on the car now. Of course, iDrive and we see a wide screen iDrive screen fitted on this particular vehicle. Another big thing for utility is the back seats. It's now a seven passenger possible vehicle so, it holds more than ever. BMW showed this thing when they unveiled it on the Nerver Green [assumed spelling] race track and then seven people climbing out. So, they're really pushing that sports activity vehicle angle, he new BMW X5 on sale soon. ^M00:01:16 [ Music ]
