[SOUND] Welcome, everyone to a hot lap at Spring Mountain Raceway outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, in the Cadillac ATSV.
I've been here at the V-Performance Academy.
I'm doing a lead-follow with an instructor.
Now I did have an access to the CTSV or the ATSV, but honestly, you know, the CTSV 464 horsepower.
It's only A tenth of a second off the CTSB in terms of 0 to 60 time.
And frankly it's lighter, and much more nimble, much easier to turn.
And this is a pretty twisty track, so I wanted to make sure that I got the best bank for my buck.
Wait for that cone, and now you can turn, okay.
Coming here, this is called the Ego Check, because you'll probably mess it up.
[LAUGH] Coming down here into this turn which I have a tendency to mess up.
I have a tendency to get on the gas way too quickly, so don't mess it up.
Could have been closer to the edge.
All right, now to set up for the drop.
I need to make sure my wheels are straight.
Boom!
Awesome.
Good job, good job.
Alright coming into this back straight now.
Here's where you see all that ATS-V power coming into it.
Gonna be flat out on the gas.
Let's go.
No brake.
I don't want to brake, I don't want to brake.
I've gotta brake.
And you can see up there from my braking [INAUDIBLE] Graph.
I really need to work on my trail braking.
I should still be dragging the brakes here just a little bit so I can keep those front wheels turning.
It'll allow me to get a faster exit speed.
Now coming into patience.
It's called patience because you'll never see the apex.
It's so far away.
[LAUGH] There it is.
There it is.
[LAUGH] And, back here into the [INAUDIBLE] And check it out we're done with our lap.
It's pretty fast?
And there you have it there is a hot lap at spring mountain race wave thanks so much for watching y'all.
