I'm standing here next to what has got to be the star of the 2017 Sema Show, the Hennessey Venom F5.
Now there's a lot of people around.
A lot of excitement.
And it's easy to see why.
This is the fastest road going car on the planet.
Well, how does 300 miles an hour sound to A Twin Turbo V8 puts out 1600 horsepower.
I can't even say that without laughing.
A seven speed single touch transmission throws all that power to the rear wheels and the carbon fiber means that this baby weighs just 2950 pounds Plus it has got all those aero bit bringing that coefficient of drag down to a mere 0.33.
Now this company does not measure 0 to 60 times.
No, that's too easy.
Instead we've got a 0 to 186 miles per hour, comes in just ten seconds.
I mean that's faster than an F1 race car and it is definitely faster than my car.
So what's the catch?
Well Hennessey is only gonna build 24 of these and they're gonna cost a cool 1.6 million american dollars.
So mom, dad you got eight weeks to save your money, I hope to see one under the tree at Christmas time.
