Geneva auto show: Honda goes green three new waysHonda isn't kidding when they talk about green cars: Here's proof in the forms of hybrid, hydrogen, and diesel.

It uses their existing IMA hybrid technology, but man what a different look, sporty, low-slung 20 inch wheels, a floating glass rear view panel and video cameras for rearview mirrors. This Honda was panned in their European-style shop in Germany hence the look, Honda also trotted out a drivable version of their concept SCX fuel-cell car and supposedly it goes on sale in a limited fashion in the US and Japan in 2008. It will have a range of 350 miles on a single blast of hydrogen, you will need about half that to find a fill up station. Finally Honda also showed off a much more fuelable engine, this new clean diesel that they say will be as clean as a modern, stingy gasoline engine. It uses ammonia to catalyze out the dirty emissions, but instead of carrying some kind of tank of liquid ammonia, it generates its own right inside the catalytic converter. ^M00:01:10 [ Music ]
