This -- the add twins grow from it starts with straight 63 leaders. As we thought it got a pretty good that start other little hesitation and Napster which I think it's mostly due to the transmission -- -- and stuff about. You have a blessing it's going to let you read things before you can finish saying that car's -- think it. Together -- lot of pushing -- aren't yet so little initial hesitation on acceleration which is pretty common -- today's cars a lot of systems in. But -- this -- really gets a bit that in -- engine Vietnamese community that everything and that we also -- -- new features. One thing of the stars as the suspect's story and it. That's been a long time BMW's. -- anything would expire in Austin about 2003 and it's just been sitting there neglected. But now it gets all of BMW's latest technology. And so one thing it Scott -- an eight speed transmission. Lot of speeds. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- but when you do manually should really ships with a hard like each year. Feels really solid and communities got it. -- -- on that port converters machinist and they give you a real sports and also better efficiency that actually helps your fuel economy when you get. Partnerships like that so it got -- wide eight point eight inch LCD. And that's just a beautiful screen and these maps I think are. Audi is the only one doing better maps here. -- -- -- -- -- Google's search. So instead of just going to blends editors' database of the Denver restaurant or whatever you can -- a Google search and really get up to date information of what's in the area. About connected to the BMW assist nomadic service. But overall I mean it's also we have very comfortable like -- here. Yes yes it's that that upscale BMW's luxury -- -- what happened here soft touch materials all around and wood trim. I can't imagine -- -- that new technologies. Well you for BMW. Rigid body history. And that basically allows you to use the -- sounds like streaming audio via Bluetooth phones. It's really good for anybody exiting he's so smart -- that's not an iPhone. I could that's aside from the edit project -- -- the only way to market -- -- body away from an Android phone or a Blackberry. -- now other -- have been doing this for a couple of years now but it -- just haven't jumped onto that band like that the nice feature to have along with media. -- hard drive storage for music again -- iPod integration and in. Everything else that -- -- -- offers pretty much every modern digital audio source sort of SD cards but it really use that. All right so X three couple new things and we have Bluetooth streaming. We're just talking off offline here are watching the video if we were able to get metadata to work when -- industry -- of the titles and all that sort of stuff not just the audio stream. And what does it -- with the controlled transport control is that part of the same thing as meta data or is that a different level of Bluetooth you know off and. Will give him Bluetooth is made at will the Bluetooth standards mean a whole bunch of -- communicable bunch of different. What given the level that is called but. They're basically. Codec or something like that -- -- a lot of one of the codec or if we went with them. Profiles of the a two DPI audio streaming. Match the profile is sending the metadata market -- but not implemented. Yet we haven't seen that for -- -- we just got -- it did Bluetooth and only that was the audio stream right through -- Bluetooth audio on the screen -- has -- gotten them. Transport control started working around the daddy AD r.s TP yell at one point three yet enabled men like pies. Slave port -- back. And then metadata threat to show up on some cars -- you get all attractive but that's -- leaking out a little bit at a time and I'm trying to remember. I had a problem. -- would this partnering my Droid. Now I'm not sure about that but I don't think we got metadata -- of the Droid in streaming gets one phone the Droid two I didn't check the list with support order. But you good to see BMW that technology. Yet it's about time -- have warmed up to a Bluetooth streaming it's -- a speakerphone in your pocket and in a jump in the car and -- -- from that and that's and I although. I would like to see that can Kokomo where you actually select music from your phone without. Acting dead in each channel and out yet yet that's really broken -- when networks that way but yet that it's a great step forward for them. That I -- -- -- X three looked. Substantially different than the previous version I liked that it didn't look that much of by the go to the next five -- an original X five yeah you know certainly the the size that fits that but yeah form factor in all Latin. I mean yet got that strong contour line on the size 63 this camera the X -- Because you look at the pictures of the old one to the new one the difference that I see is. Basically a great -- -- Move toward an elegance -- the scar in the kind of rich and sophisticated compare it to the old X -- -- side by side with it didn't occurred a couple of side by side applicable pictures -- like. Those are the first six with the second Jeep. By comparison looks really -- upright and -- -- -- area of the first -- off the kind of avoided that Wayne citing that. Totally bad -- utilizing -- black on the side it is pictured here new styling. Here's a picture -- really flat on the side and kind of this sort of -- upright sort of little happy face. In reality it hole they like it seems like if they'd been very long if all went into -- the top half of the screen is very public via a live we go to the new one latest jump and of that now if you'd have very different sort of a degree of yes kind of up market ness to it is I think the changes are kinda subtle but. It here's the front and of the new one. Yet and there's certainly some big elements -- like -- lower air intake but -- sizzling going on the -- -- and all the call the contours stuff on the side of the car. -- is actually production models in Edmonton the by the -- -- that the valuable foreign companies still the same idea became over with a very different that the theory. So this is the full -- And they did visited that is something with the with the -- that line meets -- -- -- right there where the line at the like Travis Leo this is -- meets -- the -- Swoopes. Over the we will march and then goes up and and -- as other contour line that comes down. Right there where that little indicator light is on the side that side marker that's a really busy little place but -- -- -- the -- -- The back and looks really X 52. -- it is -- upscale. You know it just became like a big kind of expensive looking vehicle -- is look kind of -- -- a little. Little garden wagon yet but you know of sudden sometimes takes oil around patents though. It follows that trend that the average every upgrade for a car seems to add inches get bigger and -- community wants to make room because they've got the X one coming up. Which when they're smaller and truly impact as -- the right. That's. And this is this is literally it's approaching the size of the first next -- quite happy with the instant comparison is but it Nazis much closer the size of the old X five the original which also got bigger. That it is to the old X three through a -- got bigger all around. Com and I guess that that's the right way to go because he got to be able you know moving up market. Make room for that little -- X one now now the base price for the the X. Drive 35 by the one we had was about 41042. Delivered what is here and so than the X drive 28 I've been non Turbo -- version I'd imagine bill 4000 bucks us or so yeah high thirties probably which is good price yet but not a bad price for BMW. Especially for -- crossover SUVB and now but that's a lot. Now. I certainly enjoyed driving this extra that he provide blast and around some corners -- -- that twisty roads in memory and up here -- -- -- sport plus four plus who ski that's the fun that was -- And I -- it a little bit of I reviewed article that little bit of pelicans a little bit tippy and jumps. I thought it was doing a lot of bouncing up and down -- but has been some bouncing up and down. And it felt a little high for some reason -- it wasn't that screwed down like -- wasn't screwed down -- pavement. That I converted to a key and in my mind what is not fair you know but it felt like a very different than a -- which feels amazingly just kind of down. That's that it probably feels better than like a Jeep or suffer for adolescents are adults overall pick at -- -- But. It does have that BMW active suspension technology which is very cool as the in the star and -- that is -- this -- all their cards pretty much. And that actually seem to really does push those tires down to the pavement and when you're driving over that -- -- -- Ripley Kirby part of the road. Near -- the -- might go than we -- a podcast there's effects of road where it basically undulating bomb. -- -- the dump yeah yeah with in the middle to turn yeah it's no worse get out of sorts. Via I don't know it would be old driver -- it was just really good suspension tuning but it didn't. It didn't really get out of sorts he didn't get a lot of that lake -- the you know an application you we have heard it there too and it created never got out of shape even coming -- around -- corner doing up and Daniel losing all your. -- on the wheels and is a bit ago you know you do that -- thing yeah but obligated that the suspensions part of the M sport package if we had. And then it's got just the standard sort of stiffening through the through the rocker switch is the suspension based and also based and other all wheel drive. Which a lot of folks are very excited here. So it's always an all wheel drive at least in the 3528. To -- yeah it's bad really advanced all right systematic -- 6040 split the mighty -- -- it chips tortilla. Back and forth but it doesn't do you park back terrain and there's now. Differential walk or anything like that yeah -- right. It's a super handling all wheel drive yet -- which was which is of amazing from from -- for accurate but it's at least they're all wheel drive which a lot of folks were relieve line. -- -- we have better some itself finally. -- there was a lot of pent up demand. We also had the the online Google stuff we showed there -- search. For that's built into both navigation you can use that it -- -- destination orders to do three of search tropical BMW. Since the VW business search by terminal last X three -- -- which is probably about five years ago. Yet been a while yet and the -- because this is that have a radio. That's your head I don't know back then they have the -- BMW's big mystery over this is radio. What's actually is still -- there it's still that strip with the buttons the optical slot the little tiny -- and the tool rockers on the right -- they've still got that but now of course it's paired up with a very -- system but. Emitted and that's of the business rate more which has always been a weird and it's just nice to you get that whole -- -- has been -- fantastic tablet products right now. And this gets like the latest stop and adds a couple things like agreements in the Bluetooth audio streaming via and the big equating -- screen. -- -- one ambiguous -- and he -- the maps are great. Disgrace and -- says was on the video there the zoom two satellite photo realistic when you to a certain zoom level on the outside. Strangest little -- no one's gonna agree with main areas -- -- -- to -- your -- Berman but. Everything's -- ports on the -- drive when you -- zooming you go counterclockwise. It makes me crazy. To me it's analogous to driving -- grew into something you turn clockwise to go it makes perfect as it does okay -- I'm I'm not crazy distraught. Another thing it was weird as when you go over to the ribbon on the side -- tools for navigation. I -- rotate a -- right to go down the list of those little icons and it's I think it's left. -- -- That makes up an amendment that does make sense you don't have an easier on the ribbon to me right is down. From the ads on mobile. Yes so leftist down left would be counter clockwise and then -- -- -- the -- okay I think I can see that here's the other -- -- -- You guys -- you guys think should vote when you've got to shift back and forth for shifting. Which way -- down shift allies I think it I think vehemently does it right I think gas down fifteen should be -- -- Forward I think it and they go forward yet. And data took a -- personality so you pull back pull for a full production if you agree -- the united -- it to me it's I want them for some reason I'm looking at the shifter to me if -- see it as this. The graphical thing -- is -- -- Up before you should probably -- a month -- the X. And there's few things that I don't like about the start of this is one thing and this is typical BMW's is. When you're going to the search screens like searching for -- -- or searching for music off of our driver connect to drive that. The -- search system that's really -- filter based system. So you set the elderly alike -- album and then you also your artists to you and get them results narrowed down to that which is not in interface that should be in a car. -- -- -- yeah it's -- it's something that's like an engineering interface for searching databases but it's not in car database. Yeah you're right it's the it is very it is very database schema and query the logic right now and it's stupid to have that attire and -- -- -- Interesting yes the guys still have an issue with that rotate but we sure have a lot of issues of -- car we will look at that -- -- -- editor's choice. Com there was an easy wasn't it yeah I doubt that the women love that. But we've got a little bit clinics and you really like -- -- you mean you get past -- -- -- in the Big Easy you certainly picking -- all the little studying exaggeration you turn the address that permit it. Now how much yearly bash something for a search screen and in its first filtering and -- there -- a lot of these things -- the things that they in owner Rudy used to after yes. That's -- -- -- of these including -- used to but ultimately we're talking about here is stuff you could be chewy to its not broken. It's just may be requires a little bit wrapping your veteran also has voice commands -- you can actually request music by artist. Album -- -- right thing right cool. Then so we're looking at -- with a lot of tech at you know a pretty good price point and again right now the entry level of BMW's -- as they call them soon to be. You know bumped -- -- one not by the arrival of the X -- so anyway that's our BM WX three X drive 35 by the review is up. It's an editor's choice. Lot of great tech nice three styling it looks more -- more massive you're gonna look like you're really kind of -- -- -- really cool -- now more than the previous versions so.
