Completely eliminating not only three trims including the GT but also removing the VR6 engine option entirely.
Only two trims will be left the base Wolfsburg edition and the hotter SER line.
And the only engine available will be 2-liter Inline-4.

Acura unveiled a whole host of upgrades for it's Civic based 2019 ILX entry luxe sedan.
In addition to new front and rear fascia that look more like other modern Acura's The auto maker also standardized it's Acurawatch suite of active and passive safety systems.
The interior features a revised info-tainment system with snappier software, both apple carplay and android auto.
The 2019 ILX goes on sale this October.
