AutoComplete: Volkswagen readies another electric Microbus for Detroit
Here's what's making news on Road Show.
Volkswagen is back on the bus bandwagon with its latest concept which will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show.
This unnamed contraption looks like a neo-futuristic microbus, and like most concepts,it is electric and autonomous.
It's whats on the same EB platform as the I.D. concept that we saw debuted in Paris too.
We'll see the whole thing up close and personal in just a few weeks.
Audi's also got a concept coming to Detroit but it definitely is not electric.
The Q* concept gives us a sneak peek at Audi's next crossover, which is a swoopy coopy thing, not at all unlike Mercedes Benz's crossover coops.
The rear-end looks a lot like the old Lamborghini Yaris concept, which is interesting.
We'll see this one just on the other side of the holiday break, too.
Ford snuck in two more vehicle recalls before the end of the year.
First it recalled 8,000 examples of the 2017 Super Duty for gas tanks support straps that may not have been installed.
Which could lead to fuel tanks dragging on the ground.
The second recall covers 1,300 vehicles including the Taurus, Flex, Explorer and the Lincoln MKT.
Here the Turbocharger oil lines may leak oil onto hot components which could lead to a fire.
That's not the kind of warming sensation you want to have this winter.
Find out more on these stories over on the roadshow.com and we'll talk to you next year.
