AutoComplete: McLaren's new GT adds luggage space to lightspeed
Here's what's making news on Road Show.
McLaren finally pulled the covers off its new GT car, and the results are pretty staggering.
It's less aggressive, and more comfortable looking than some of the brands other hyper sporting options, but it's still packing that same four liter twin turbo V8, and it's excellent gear box.
The most impressive bit though is the massive amount of luggage space that McLaren is able to create just by lowering the intake on the engine.
Now don't start planning Ikea trips Macha yet.
A couple a golf clubs should fit just fine.
The Audi A 4 is a great compact German Sedan.
It has reasonable performance.
And all that sweet quarto you can stand.
Unfortunately, it started to feel a bit old.
So Audi waved it's magic wand and gave the A4 a fairly excellent update.
There is a new mild hybrid system and gone is the old cars knob based infotainment system.
Now it's got a touchscreen and virtual cockpit as an option too.
Hyundai's the 2020 version of it's a launcher sedan and the more efficient beast than ever.
Gone is the old automatic transmission on all models but eco in sport.
And its place something new CVT which Hyundai says it's good for other two mile Miles per gallon.
The sport and SE trims have also lost their manual transmission option, which is, of course, a bummer.
But what's not a bummer is that all models now get Hyundai SafetySense, including the SE, which didn't get it for 2019.
And that includes, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and a driver attention monitor.
