The IN EW 900 is a doubled in all in one system that installs in your vehicle's dashboard.
Bringing with it turn by turn navigation and audio video playback.
The unit features a seven inch WV GA touch screen on which you'll find a simplified menu structure that easier to understand an Alpine previous menu system.
The menus playback screens and video content are all rendered quite crisply but maps are a bit pixelated and plain looking paerson.
That's being maps the W 900 uses a Flash Memory based navigation system with an -- -- GPS antenna.
And a system called on point that they gyroscope and excel runner to enhance positioning accuracy when the GPS signal -- -- -- lost.
Users can jump between AV playback modes in the navigation system using these audio and map button just below the screen.
They're also button for ejecting a disk from unit CD dvd player.
Volume up and down a mute button which I find very handy source selection and navigation menu.
Available audio sources include the affirmation -- dvd player an analogue -- V input.
US being -- connectivity and aim at the Maria.
When using an iPod you get access -- -- full media library with album -- work.
-- -- the neat little ties.
When in the audio playback mode holding down the audio button brings up a small picture in picture window for displaying navigation data --
Conspicuously absent from this all in one speaker set is Bluetooth hands free calling and audio streaming.
But Alpine offers an IN EW 900 BT -- add that functionality or users can just -- -- -- and add on module for this unit.
