>> Alfa Romeo wants back in the U.S. and they're not gonna do it solely on the 8C. They need something the rest of us can afford. This might be it. It's called the Mi.To. Their first all-new compact car in 40 years, they say. Good looking from almost every angle, except from the front. It kind of looks like Stuart Little's car, but ignore that for now. Overall, they're making a point here about a small car that can have high style, kind of they're going for the iPod crowd. Inside, we'll find a pretty good loaded technology including Blue&Me, a Microsoft initiative very similar to Microsoft and Ford's Sync technology in the U.S. market. By the way the goofy name Mi.To is a contraction of the two great Italian Automotive cities, Milan and Torino. The model we're looking at here is a 1.4-liter turbo putting out 155 horsepower, but that will be up in the air, come U.S. launch time. This is the kind of style that Alfa thinks can set them apart in what's going to be an ever more crowded small lean car field.
