2020 Cadillac CT5-V and CT4-V pump-up the V-Series performance sedan lineup
[BLANK_AUDIO]
If you happen to be someone who is down in the dumps about the impending loss of CTSV or ATSV, well I got some good news.
[UNKNOWN] I'm here with the all new 2020 CT5V and CT4V, which made their world debuts here in Detroit.
That are replacements for your beloved CTS and ATSV's, and proof that performance cars are far from dead at Cadillac.
Starting below the CT6V in the line up is a CT5V that visually distinguishes itself apart from the normal CT5's, with the V series trademark mesh grill, more aggressive bumpers, Quad exhaust tips and specific 19 inch wheels, on inside the V gets a unique instrument cluster and will be available with Cadillac super trees tech.
When it comes to the really important stuff, power comes from a three liter twin turbo B6 putting out 355 horsepower and foreigner pound fee to talk the latter of which is available from just 2400 RPF.
It comes made it to a 10 speed automatic transmission and it will be offered with both rear and all wheel drive.
To raise the CT five vs dynamics game, it features a limited slip rear differential, GM multi mode performance management system, the latest iteration of the excellent magnetic ride control suspension system.
Brembo brakes and Michelin [UNKNOWN] for us tires.
Serving as a new gateway to the V series family, the smaller CT4V comes to the party packing a 2.7 liter turbo charge, 4 cylinder making an estimated 320 horsepower and 369 pound via torque.
And peak torque is available from a nice and low 1500 RPM.
Like the CT five b a 10 speed automatic grabs power to the rear or all wheels.
Handle better equipment includes magnetic drag control on rear wheel drag cars while all the drive models can zf passive de, and also gets brembo front brakes 11 slip rear differential and 18 inch Michelin pot sport for us Visually, not surprising, the V will differ from the base CT4 models, with a mesh grill, darkened exterior trim, and exclusive rear spoiler.
And on the inside, it too gets a special instrument cluster, and will be available with SuperCruise, Now, if the 2020 Cadillac CT4-V or CT5-V have caught your attention, it's understandable because they look fairly promising on paper.
And I have to say, they look good in person too.
The bad news is that they wont be reaching the dealers until early next year.
So you have tp be patient as you wait to get your hands on either of them
