For a company that's better known for building value-pack people movers, the 2018 KIA Stinger is a welcome addition to the lineup.
This muscular [UNKNOWN] has got plenty of sizzle under the hood.
How much?
Well, you're gonna get your choice of a two liter four cylinder turbo-charged engine.
Good for 255 horse power and 260 [UNKNOWN] of torque.
But What gets my heart racing?
It's 3.3 liter twin turbo V6.
That's gonna be good for 365 horsepower and 376 pound/feet of torque.
The Stinger's gonna be offered in all wheel drive or rear wheel drive with a mechanical limited slip for us purists.
It's like the only thing that can make it better is a manual transmission, but alas It's just not in the cards, y'all.
Instead, you can expect an eight seat automatic transmission.
But it's got the battle shifters.
And the Stinger is packed with plenty of tech as well, including Kia's all new driver attention system.
So if the car thinks you're falling asleep, maybe doing a little bit of texting, it's gonna give you a graphic in your gauge requester and sound a little alert.
So pay attention.
Whether or not this is a good time for Kia to introduce a muscular four-door fastback remains to be seen.
After all, we in America, we just love our crossovers and SUVs.
Now there's no word on pricing or availability.
But I for one, I'm excited to get behind the wheel.
