Lexus's performance push has been impressive with vehicles like the ISF, RCF, and of course the wicked LFA Super Car.
Which to this day remains one of my favorite cars I've ever driven.
The latest number of the S family is the GSF, which looks to give cars like the BMW M5, Mercedes AMG E63, and Cadillac CTS-V a run for their money.
[NOISE] Now it doesn't match the M5 560 horsepower from its turbo Or the 640 horsepower from its supercharged V8 engine.
But there are few redeeming qualities to Lexus deciding not to put a turbo or a supercharger on the engine.
One of them being this.

Yes, this engine at wide open throttle Sounds awesome, and things like a linear power band and auto response are nice to have on a race track like Judgement Raceway.
Now people may knock it because it's not a [UNKNOWN] unit, but those complaints are not warranted.
With the passive shifters it's extremely responsive to up and down shift and on the road it's not the slightest bit jerky After the suspension changes in the torque affecting rear differential they definitely earn their keep.
Turn is sharp and there's good feel to the steering wheel and body movements are well controlled around the corners and through the quick right left transition between turns 8 and 9 here at Gingerman.
This is just a very well balanced car that's communicative, light on its feet, features a ton of grip, and is a lot of fun to toss around.
And to top things off, the sixth suspension features a lot of give for comfortable street driving.
[NOISE]
Now I'm not sure how many [UNKNOWN] owners were actually tracked car, but I highly recommend it.
I've been [UNKNOWN] car all day, and I'm still having a lot of fun.
The breaks have held up And they're not even carbon ceramics.
[NOISE]
The GSF is an impressive piece around a race track like GingerMan, but it's also comfortable on-road.
Meaning it's a good all-around performance sedan.
Yes, it's down a horsepower compared to its competitors, but it makes up for that with its lighter curb weight and playful personality.
It's a well balanced car that's not drunk on horsepower.
It's kinda nice.
