Mercedes C-Class always had a little stodgier, a little more junior executive image, let's say a 3 series coupe.
So, here's the latest tab about C-coupe that's going to change that image a bit.
And as you can see they've really tried to give it a little sachet with the sweeping roof line that comes down behind the rear wheels, part of a sporty look, but the top of this guy is about an 1-1/2 inch lower
than the Sedan model.
So, it does print much more a low slang.
Engine choices will be many in markets around the world.
The one that intrigues me the most is the C250 BlueEfficiency.
1.8-liter direct injection turbo diesel, and that's getting a lot of power.
I have a very small, very lean packaging, you know me, I love turbo diesels.
Now, this new coupe have about a lot more than just new coop lines, a lot of new lines inside, aluminum an aluminized plastic trim everywhere.
There's a new color LCD in the middle of the speedo.
There's a new interface
here in the center stack on a 5.8-inch display.
You're still the central command controller, but now you've got built-in wireless internet in this guy.
You can send destinations from Google Map to the vehicle wirelessly; load them on SD card, if you will.
We also have Bluetooth streaming in this guy, some phonebook contact transfer improvements.
There's also a USB connector in this guy, HD radio in general.
But if you're gonna step up the tech on what has been kinda of little bit of backwards head unit for a while in this low-end Mercedes.
