[ Background music ] >> Now if you're a Subi WRX fan there's plenty of you out there one thing you always kind of envied about the STI, the hotter car was the bad ass body style, like this except note the badge, this is a WRX, not an STI. Subaru has brought the big wide body style to the more mainstream car. People are gonna love this that are in the whole Subi crowd. Wider track front and rear, about an inch and a half wider stance of the wheels front and rear. Those are 17 inch alloys, again new for the 2011 model year. Under the hood is the 265 horsepower turbo boxer 4, the STI still gets the hotter mil. Let's go over there now. Yes this is an STI and I will forgive you for thinking I'm crazy because STIs don't come in 4 door sedan configuration. Well they do now, for 2011 that's the big news around this, which is the performance top end car for Subaru, 4 door, with a trunk and oh a cocktail table AKA monster wing. They've also once again upgraded the suspension making sure there's enough difference between that WRX with the new body style and this car. Lighter bigger 18 inch wheels and of course this car still gets the more sophisticated all wheel drive with the center differential technology, a little simpler version of symmetric all wheel drive on the WRX. [ Background music ] Both these cars coming out mid to mid late this year. Subaru really blending more of the STI and WRX DNA into one more cohesive line.
